In 2015 Bernalillo County Open Space is partnering with the Hubbell House Alliance and Jen Prosser of Sunstone Herbs to bring residents of the middle Rio Grande Valley expert guest speakers to present firsthand knowledge on topics such as irrigation, livestock, insects, garden basics, seed saving, and much more.
Local residents braved the cold to come out to the Backyard Farming Workshop at the Hubbell House.
In 2011, the Bernalillo County Extension Office joined our effort to organize workshops and is maintaining the demonstration gardens and fields at the Hubbell House. The Hubbell House Demonstration Gardens will also serve as a garden center for the Junior Master Gardener program being launched this summer by the County Extension Office. Contact John R.
